Diog says driver side front airbag / risistance too high what could that mean ??

My srs light stays on in my car and the diagnostics says that its my drivers side air bag and that the resistance is too high , I just brought it and it has had no accidents ..

What the SRS module does  like all the module does is do a self check , it look for shorts, opens, grounded circuits, the vehicle may not have been in a accident , but the air bag is not in tolerance so it may or may not deploy in a accident where the air bag is needed, the fix is replace the airbag,
