I have a 2001 Expedition, XLT. It has blown 2, cop's, one from each side of the head.! Aside from the down time, at $3,500 for each repair, this is a major problem.! I have now spent more to replace the heads than I paid for the S.U.V.! FORD states that there is NO RECALL for this issue, which I can't believe.. I read that there were over 450,000 complaints about this issue... So does anyone have any suggestions, other than to trade it for a DODGE..? ( Which I don't even allow friends to park in my driveway..)  Thanks
Vehicle: 2001, 5.4 - V 8 Expedition

The headgasket material that you use important, when the headgasket where produced by Ford it lack armor, It was Felpro that added amor to the headgasket which would prevent cylinder headgasket failure and also the oil leak from the cylinder head, when it comes to aftermarket product most would improve the product. The expedition on this year every shop knows about it. You unfortunately have 2001 Ford Exploding 5.4
