Replaced check EGR but code still comes up.

Question

I got the code P0403, so I replaced the EGR and am still getting the same code.

I bought this part: AIRTEX/WELLS 4F1232 {#226477, 4861537AA, EGR3173} Includes Gasket

from rock auto. (https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dodge,2002,grand+caravan,3.3l+v6,1440643,emission,egr+valve,4968)

this comes with the valve and solenoid. being that i replaced the whole system why am i still receiving p0403???

HI there,

Check and make sure the port for the egr is not plugged up. if it is then you will continue to get the code because the sensor won't indicate the egr is opening when it should.
