When it comes to find the cylinder Bank you stand in the front of the engine, use either the sparkplug ignition coil or fuel injector or even the valve cover, you identify the number 1 cylinder first, which ever sparkplug, valve cover , or injector is closet to you , that is the number 1 cylinder which makes that Bank 1, and the other side then becomes Bank 2

​ Band 1 is always where cylinder 1 is located, the other side then becomes Bank 2
