2005 Ford F150 5.4L.  150,000 miles. Changed all 8 coil packs.  few days later got a #2 cylinder misfire code. Swapped #2 and #5 coil pack. No change still #2 misfire. Most mornings first start i get engine check light but not always. #2 cylinder misfire.  Sparkplugs have been changed about a year age.. fuel filter about 5 years ago. Removed and replaced both cam phasers, chain, chain guides, chain tensioners. Im going to pull the #2 spark plug. I do feel a slight vibration when driving.

P0302 Misfire number 2 cylinder

What gets missed a lot is the fuel injector connection especially on a Ford, if it slip out it not only create a misfire on that cylinder but it also set a P0300 (random misfire

Not secured fuel injector connection will cause a misfire on that cylinder and will not set a injector code but a misfire code and a random misfire code .this happens when there is not  a proper connection when the locking tabs tend to break if this is the case use zip ties
