Small oil leak silver dollar size that is enough to loose oil, There is no filter for the crankcase, a engine can consume oil and this depends on your driving habit, A aggressive acceleration will consume oil so will engine braking, The viscosity of the oil also plays a role, you can use 10 w 30 , and in this year a 10 w 40. , use only regular no synthetic blend or full synthetic.
