2016 Chevrolet Malibu 1.8L with engine code P2097

Question

why would I get a code on my 2016 malibu with only 6,000 miles on it? just had the oil changed on it two days at the dealer and now the check engine light is on. don't tell me I got a lemon

Doing a oil change, there always a inspection of the air filter, getting to the airfilter element  a clamp or  hose may loosen up , have that area rechecked,
