How do I fix this code on my mustang p1780

Question

My engine light was on and then off but still ran test and this code appeared. How do i check what wires are disconnected or whats wrong. If I do it myself what do I buy.

This code is for a faulty transmission control switch. Now this could be a one time thing it basically means it was out of range for the self test. If the light continues to come on then it will need to be properly diagnosed. Here is some more info.
