Hi there

This code can also be the result of a bad cam position sensor. Even though you don't have the code, if the cam sensor stops reading, you will get this code because it doesn't see the timing advance. This will also cause problems with the starting. Unplug the bank 1 cam sensor and see if the car will start. If it does, replace the sensor, if not, you may have an actual mechanical timing issue.
