Ok engine has been running rough and my car just stopped running while sitting at a light. Had it towed to the house. Turns over fine but will not start. When key is turned the fuel pump kicks on. The fuel pump line was removed from the fuel bar and given power and fuel shoots out. Changed the ignition coil, plugs, and wires. Getting sparks on all plugs. Bought a code machine and getting the camshaft position sensor code. Also getting a pending code of transmission control system malfunction indicator lamp request. Changed out both cam and crankshaft position sensors and still will not start. Other things to check instead of continually throwing money at it. Someone suggested bad computer. How can we know it's for sure bad without replacing it? Can it be checked in some way.

HI there,

Check the timing belt. If it's broken or jumped time, then the engine will crank, but won't have any spark AND you will get a code for the crank sensors. If the belt is broken the cam won't turn when you crank it and it will set the code.
