I pulled out my stock electric fan and replaced with a clutch fan on my 04 Grand Cherokee. The only code I have is p0118.

I was just wondering if you got rid of your code p0118 ? I also have 04 grand cherokee, sometimes going down the road it dies. A lot of the time it hesitates bad when you get on the gas. I've had for 3 years and it's never ran perfect for more than a month the whole time I've had it

Hi there,
This code should not be caused by the fan change unless the truck is running hot. Otherwise it's more likely the temp sensor has failed or the wiring for the sensor is shorted to power.
