How can I tell if the wire harness is open or shorted??

Obd code p1107. Possible map sensor malfunction. Car starts but doesn't run. Sometimes hard to start. Also code p017

P1107 MAP sensor circuit intermittent low voltage

P0107  MAP sensor circuit low voltage

The code that would set would tell you. What the ECM does is look for open circuit short circuit grounded circuit , A open circuit would set a voltage high code and a shorted would set a voltage low code. This is a common problem with the MAP sensor itself

With a gentle tug on the connection the whole MAP sensor was found to be seperated,  The fix replace the MAP sensor
