This code is for a small evap leak. This is usually found using a smoke test. Smoke is pumped into the evap system, then we look for leaks. Once the leak is located we then do the repair. This is the best way to diagnose the problem. It doesn't hurt to make sure the gas cap is tight before paying a shop to smoke it.
