Where is the bank 1 sensor on my 1996 Buick lesabre 3800 series

Assuming you are talking about the O2 sensor. This is mounted in the exhaust manifold. Sensor 1 is in the manifold BEFORE the converter, sensor 2 is AFTER the converter.
