It was running fine all of a sudden it started running rough then shut off. Re-started and had to rapidly step on the gas pedal to keep it running, Rough, unless i floor it. It's gotten worse. I wait awhile it starts. It will run idle until I give it gas, gets rough then shuts off and won't start at all.

Hi there,

The P0340 code is for a faulty cam position sensor. However, with the symptoms you are describing it is possible the timing belt has jumped time. This will also give you the code for the cam sensor because the cam shaft is now out of time with the crank shaft.

P1300 is also an ignition timing code. It sounds like the timing belt has jumped time and you will have to have the timing belt replaced.
