Throttle position sensor toyota corolla?

Code comes up as a po121..has a manual transmission..car goes fine in reverse but as soon as you put it into 1st gear it has 0 power and no throttle response

This code is for the TPS on the car, but it doesn't make any sense the issue is only happening in forward gears. I would check the engine mounting. If it's moving to much it could be causing a loss of connection at the TPS.
