it seemed to help for a few months.enough to get my sticker.then light came back on and tells me to tighten gas cap.but the pressure in my tank seems not to be releasing.when I goto fuel up,the pressure in tank is rediculous.i have to wait for it to release for few minutes before I can refuel.kinda scares me all those fumes releasing at the pump.but like I said replaced vent silonoidand light stayed off few months but is back to doing and saying same thing.every now and then also get miss fire code in cylinder3.but only came up twice.not on now.just 2 codes p0455 and p0455.

HI there,

This code is for an evap gross leak. This is unusual considering the car is full of pressure. It's possible that the purge control solenoid isn't working properly and pulling the fumes out of the charcoal canister when the car is running. This would increase the pressure in the tank and the canister so it doesn't release until you open the gas cap. I would start there and it's also possible the problem is that the vent valve is sticking closed. Retest the vent valve as well.
