location ofevap canister440

have a po 440 code.replaced gas cap.no luck..location of evaporator control canister purge valve............egine light still on..afer resetting will come back on after a few days

Hi there

The canister is mounted to the frame at the rear of the truck over the spare tire. I have seen issues with the wiring breaking back there for the vent control solenoid, so check the wiring.
