I have a Nissan T14 2006 micra. It has a u1001 error and I've tried everything to sort it out. New sensors, new throttle body, Chet cat converter, checked and cleaned fuel tank/ pump. It does not start consistently all the time, if I don't get the first start then it won't start at all and takes about 45mim to get it to catch again. I've spent a fortune trying to get the problem sorted and 4 garages that failed. Please advise

HI there,

This code is usually the result of a bad ground or bad grounding. The most common location is the support for the dash board. There is paint on the body where it bolts on. Usually we back the bolts out, then tighten them back up to clean the threads and create a better ground. Since most of the computers on the car use this for their ground, it's very effective.
