2005 Nissan Sentra with engine code P0444, how do I repair this code?

This code is for the purge control solenoid valve up under the hood. The most common issue is the solenoid itself, however a defective pressure sensor can also cause this code. The purge solenoid opens under certain conditions to pull the fuel vapors from the charcoal canister. If it's not working properly, the pressure can build up and cause the code.
