1999 yukon won't start after replacing fuel pump

Question

SUV quit like out gas. Fuel pump not operating, removed& replaced it. Battery wasn't holding charge,r&r it. Has strong crank,fuel getting to motor, no codes, just will not fire off??

Fuel pressure has to be measured you need 60 to 66 psi. The basic would also have to be performed such as  ignition spark , the  CKP on this vehicle are prone to non operation at times
