Do you have to go to a dealer to reach transmission codes?

PO700 code what I found.  Replaced TCM 8 months ago and Vue has run great.  Light has come back on and now have drivability issues.  thanks

Hi there,

The P0700 does indicate there are codes stored in the TCM. The dealer is not required to pull the codes, but you do need a shop with a good scan tool that can communicate with the TCM
