I have code p0715 and speed sensor is not open, what else can I check

Question

Code description says circuit is open  The sensor is good.  Should I be able to see anything on the wires that plug on to the sensor on a meter?

This code is for the transmission speed sensor, not to be confused with the vehicle speed sensor. If the sensor is good then the wiring, computer or signal plate inside the transmission has failed. You should see reference voltage to the sensor through the wire and the other is the signal wire. A good scan tool would allow you to see what the computer is seeing.
