It wouldn't shift from 1st to 2nd and was just reving high. Stopped, put it in park then back to drive and it shifts fine normally through all gears. This has happened 3 times in the last month and oddly enough it seems to happen after the shifter (automatic) is leaned on/touched. After that when starting it the O/D off light was flashing. I hit the button it would stay solid O/D off, then hit button again to turn O/D on (no O/D light. Drives very well otherwise. 93k miles and taken care of. Speed sensor or wiring or?!?!

All thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks

HI there,

This code is normally the result of the cruise control speed sensor, not the shifter, In most cases the problem is actually with the instrument cluster and not the transmission. This will cause funny shift patterns.
