I have the code B1328 on my 2002 Ford F250 SLT 5.4L showing and a scan tool hooked to it that shows me the switch is not working I have put a new door ajar switch on I have left the circuit open and have ran a jumper across the connector the plug goes into and I still have it showing as open have replaced the smart junction box what is the next step

The source that is setting this code is the instrument panel , not any door switch , you would have to disconnect the instrument panel and check to see if the code is set
