Looking into buying a 2005 Infiniti FX35; owner & I took it to a shop for pre-purchase inspection and got diagnostics error codes B2128 and C1729. Any info on what these are? Trying to get an answer soon before I actually decide to purchase the car to make sure it's something fixable or not (basically wanna know what I'm getting into). I can't find much info online for B (body) & C (chassis) codes so any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help!

B2128 Malfunction detected in the UART

The code B2128 is mostly set due to the drive seat control, If the driver seat control works you would not have to worry about this code that is set, if it does not you need a switch. As for C1729 this code is set for the transfer case , which may not be a valid code description that is gathered, this vehicle is either a FWD (front wheel drive) or a AWD (all wheel drive) C1729 this is more for a GM vehicle , can you use another type of scan tool for C1729.
