BMW 320 2005 Diagnostic fault code P1062Hi AllMy engine management light keeps coming on and my dad has used his diagnostic tool with a reading code of P1062.  Poor acceleration and can only manage second gear even though my foot is full to the floor on the accelerator.  Please can anyone help?

P1062 Valvetronic power limitation

The VVT will give a limitation request when this code is set , Before going deep into this check the oil filter housing cap from the inside ensure there is no damage from the inside of the oil filter cap,
