Hi there, I bought 2006 Nissan Altima few months ago @ 90k miles on it. I just draw it couple hundred miles and SES light pop up. When i check the code it shows P0011 than I changed the oil and filter erase the code. Again after couple hundred miles same error pop up. When I gave my car to one of the local work shop they found that Cat Converter comes in part so i replaced that thing but I found P0011 and P0340 code again. Than they change oxygen sensor and i draw the car for two days like 30-40 miles same codes pop up. Whats the main solution for fix these codes? They said they will check the engine sound in the morning and if it makes wired sound on first 2-3 seconds than i need to replace all timing belt and sensor etc. which cost me 1500$. Can any body give me perfect solution for that?

Hi there,

Both of these codes are related to the cam position sensor. So the first thing I would do is replace the cam sensor and check the oil level. If it's low it will kick out the P0011.

This car doesn't have a timing belt.
