Air bag issue 2011 sentra

2011 nissan sentra. Air bag light on. Won't go off. How can I get it to go off without going to dealer and paying a kings ransom in charges.

Hi there

This light means there is a failure in the air bag system. You need to have the air bag module scanned for codes. Any shop could read the codes for you, then you would know what you need to have repaired. The car will not deploy the bags in an accident as long as the lights are on.
