Engine shut off

Question

My runs smoothly but shut off when my foot is not on the gas padle even in a neutral gear and it take long before it crack/ starts with the engine check light on but it wasn't like that before the mechanic made me change its head gasket, plugs, coils and fuel injectors pleas help me I don't know what to do
