does this code mean it needs a valve adjustment?

p0300,p0304,p0305 are the fail codes I received. The mechanic is saying I need a valve adjustment to clear these codes - ( for 500.00) does that seem the correct fix?

Valve adjustment can cause misfire codes. If your mechanic has eliminated the normal causes, like plugs, coils and even the fuel injectors, then yes it is possible that the valve adjustment could be needed to resolve the issue.
