P0741 03 ford explorer

Question

I have an 03 ford explorer eddie bauer and i was driving and all a sudden my check transmission light came on. It was shifting fine and everything. But when i go uphill it acts like I'm asking it to do the impossible. Ive had a few different answers to whats wrong. The light doesn't stay on either it goes away after a bit. My overdrive works fine too.

P0741 TCC solenoid

What you have is a slipping transmission where there is excessive slip during normal driving. so this would set a P0741, if it drive normal and goes away, you would need a solenoid pack for the solution
