I have a 2001 chevy camaro v6 3.8l that threw a p1221 from my Actron scanner. The scanner definition says it Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit Low...yet when i did online research, alot of sites said it had to do with Throttle Body...including this site.
How are there different definitions?

P1221 Throttle position sensor 1-2 correlation

The scan tool manufacture will load there definition into the scan tool. What you are using is a generic scan tool. So the code you will get will be generic. The code you set is a Manufacture code the definition is the TPS circuit . Just to throw wrench in this code that you set check for other code that may have set with the code that is set, this code does not set by itself. If it does then you replace the TPS Chevy does have a TSB bulletin about this code TSB # 05-06-04-058. what is required is replace the TPS.
