how do you fix control modular

Question

for a 2008 chevy uplander.It is cutting off in drive and saying system disabled ,tarting disabled when i checked it they said it was a control modular problem with no solution

The control module is the computer of that system.There is the ECM which is the engine control module, there is the TCM which is the transmission control module, Anti theft module. You would still be able to gather a code that is set to help pinpoint the cause for the vehicle cutting out
