P0335 BMW - washed the undercarriage of vehicle now it is reading code p0335 and it ran perfict before i washed it.

just replaced the d-g drum and the car ran great so i decided to wash the undercarriage now it is flashing p0335 so i replaced the crank sensor and still have same problem,is it just wet and needs to dry out?

Vehicle: 2001 bmw 330ci 3.0
