2000 Infiniti G20 2.0L with engine code P1610. The ECM is not recognizing the chip in the key. Completed all the basic troubleshooting. is it time to take to deal to have the chip reprogrammed?

Usually with this code the keys do have to be reprogrammed. You might also be able to contact a mobile locksmith and have the keys reprogrammed as well.
