i have a gmpt 4 speed auto transmission which has reveald a p1818 code.

what is ment by drive without drive. and what is actually causing this code to appear.with this question im trying to determine the actual cause of the code and how to fix it. is it because their is no fluid pressure or a faulty sensor ect, any information will help.
