Check engine light came on with code p0780 code stating shifting error how do I fix this and can anyone give an estimate for price right car is sitting at the used car dealer I got it from 3 month's ago

This could be as simple as low transmission fluid or as complicated as needing all the shift solenoids, there isn't any way tell without testing
