P1459: Evaporative emission (EVAP) purge flow switch malfunction.

Possible Cause 

 

• EVAP purge flow switch
• EVAP purge flow switch circuit
• EVAP purge control solenoid valve
• EVAP purge control solenoid valve circuit
• EVAP control canister
• Vacuum lines
• ECM

You can run some electrical tests on the flow switch, and the purge valve. If you add power and ground you should hear them click. This is usually a good indication they are working. If they do click, then a smoke test would be the next step to locate the leak of the evap system.
