Is the longitudinal sensor the same as the G sensor for a 2006 Nissan Xterra? is it related to the airbag system?

Yes the G Sensor is used by the Air Bag System on the 2006 Nissan Xterra and it is also called "Satellite Sensor" or "Gravity Sensor", but not sure it's called "longiutidanal sensor"
