can going from 5 20 oil to 10w30 cause codes p0420, 1720, 1383 pop up

Started after  Walmart oil change and started exhaust smokeing

P1720 Vehicle speed meter circuit

P1383 Variable valve timing over retarded

You can go from a 5 20 to a 10 30 but it has to be regular not synthetic oil. In either case this is a mechanical condition , replace the camshaft solenoid, and replace the oil filter. The oil may not be the problem , the filter if not the correct application can cause P1383.
