My truck was sitting still for 5 yrs. When I started using it again, The P0401 came up. I replaced the EGR valve. Now the P0401 still comes up along with the P1443.  I cleared off the engine codes and ran it through emissions when I needed to. Still the 2 codes come up periodically. What could it be?

P0401 EGR insufficient flow

P1403 Pressure hose reversed

Check the hose for the EGR back pressure, there are 2 different sizes if they get switch you would set a P1403.

The DPFE for the EGR has 2 different sizes if they are mixed you would set a P10403 as well as a P0401

Here the back pressure hose for the DPFE and note the 2 different sizes
