I have a P1576 code on my 2000 honda insight

I have a 2000 Honda insight with 170000 miles, and it has a P1576 code, I took it to a local Good year, and they said that the cooling fan for the battery is not working so the battery is overheating, but the battery is shut off, via the switch in the back. I even completely disconnected the battery pack and the code is still on. What is going on and how do I fix it?

P1576 Motor drive module voltage problem

This code is not a easy resolve, what you start out to do is substitute a known working MCM  (Motor control module) reset the code, if the code does not return replace the original MCM.
