7E8 this is not code but a menu for the engine data stream, you would also have a 7E9 and this is for the transmission.

Different scan tools display engine powertrain, transmission powertrain, and ABS system. These 3 are control modules for the scan tool to read

Dodge code 7e8

The code 7E8 is not an OBDII code. When the OBDII scanner plugs in your vehicle, the OBDII scanner gets the 7E8 ($7E8) code from the ECM. The code is a menu of systems that the OBDII scanner can access. OBDII scanner interprets the code and displays the menu. Some scanners can't solve these codes and show the codes instead of the interpretation. Clicking on the code menu will read the OBDII codes (e.g. P0420 or P0455), if any, from that system.

Menu Code 7E8 ($7E8): Engine System

Menu Code 7E9 ($7E9): Transmission System

Menu Code 7EA ($7EA): Engine Management
