How do I go about fixing this ? I have a very strong feeling it is not my transmission it's us what do I need to do to fix this code problem
Vehicle: Ford 1997 thunderbird v8

Hi there

This code is for the transmission range sensor. Most of the time the sensor is either bad or in need of an adjustment. This is located under the shift linkage on the side of the transmission.
