1997 Toyota 4Runner E3RZW83F, what dose code P0133 mean?

My check engine lite came on and an hour later went off after I used my OBD2 tool code reader. but i don't know what the code means. the code I got was P0 133. can you tell me what this means..... thank you

Hi there

This code basically means the front O2 sensor on bank 1 is not doing it's job. It plays a part in the fuel mixture, and when it doesn't this code will be stored. Most of the time replacing the sensor will resolve the issue with the check engine lights.Normally it won't cause any type of running issues with the engine.
