P1744 Lincoln -2003 lincoln ls v8 hard shift

Question

The torque converter has been replaced with a heavy duty almost 2 yrs ago.im just lost on what I should do.the hard shift is in between 2nd and 3rd gear.and sometimes its not so rough

The best way to find the cause for the hard shift is do a KOER (key on engine running) and a KOEO (key on engine off) test this would help pin point the cause for the shifting issue
