car starts and dies no code or light engine surges when it does start?

car starts then promptly shuts down. when it does stay running it surges  if i press the gas pedal the rpm goes up and stays up abt.3000 with the surging even at that rpm. no check engine light  or trouble code that i know of.

Vacuum leaks right at the throttle body can do what you are experiencing, so that area should be checked another is the fuel pressure regulator leaking fuel into its vacuum connection.
