the Po725 went away but still have the long crank pops code P0335 after the second or third time starting

The most common cause of this issue is using an aftermarket crank sensor. It is possible there is a wiring problem from the sensor to the ecm, but since the 725 code went away it's unlikely. This also leaves the possibility of an issue with the sensor just not being up to spec
