Is there a diagnostic procedure for a P0008 code on a 2008 Cadillac CTS?

P0008 Engine position system performance

This code is set due to a mechanical condition with the timing chain,  You would have to check for a loose timing chain, If you set a P0009 with a P0008 , then you would have to inspect for the crankshaft position reluctor that may have moved out of position.
